THE BRIGHTON PAVILION
NOV 2003
The beat that Brighton’s heart never skipped…
For the first time ever and for one evening only, the hidden secrets of The Royal Pavilion were revealed and projected onto the exterior walls of the building in Brighton, UK.
I was authorised to access the coveted archives of the Royal Pavilion and wander through restricted areas with the aim to collect hidden precious memories.
With my found treasures that I selected far and wide from across the building’s precious collection, I began to create a visual narrative made of eclectic items; old photos, old prints, hidden details found on a wallpapers or furniture ornaments, quirky objects of all kinds, private royal letters etc… all of them kept away from the public eye for so long.
Sponsored by ETC Ltd, the leading projecting company behind the phenomenal projections for the Queen’s jubilee event.
